From time to time, there are scam attempts where individuals pretend to be from Kivra. These can involve text messages, emails, or phone calls, often with claims about a missed payout or that you need to 'confirm a payment'.
The messages may look convincing, but the purpose is to get you to disclose sensitive information or sign something with BankID.
We want to help you feel secure and know what to look out for.
💚 Be extra vigilant if you:
- Are asked to disclose information or call unfamiliar numbers
- Are asked to sign with BankID without having initiated the request yourself
- Feel pressured to act quickly
- Are urged to click on a link when you haven't contacted our support yourself
Trust your gut feeling and abort if something feels unsafe. Instead, log in directly via the Kivra app or by typing www.kivra.se into your browser yourself. There, you will see if anything actually requires your attention.
💚 Important to know about how we contact you
- Kivra will never ask for account details, card details, or codes via text message, email, or unexpected phone calls.
- We will never ask you to log in or sign with BankID during an unexpected call.
- If you need to identify yourself with BankID when contacting customer service, this only happens when you have initiated the contact yourself or chosen to be called back.
If someone calls and you feel unsure - end the call. You can always contact us via our help page.
💚 Be extra careful when signing with BankID
Before signing with BankID, always check what is written in the BankID app. There, you can see which company is involved and what you are approving.
Your security is important to us. Here, you can read more about how we work with security.
