The amount is debited on the date you have chosen yourself. When you pay an invoice in Kivra, you can choose between three options: Pay now, Custom date, or On the due date.
Here is how the different options work
Pay now: Once you complete the payment, the invoice status changes immediately to Scheduled and displays the exact payment date. When the money is actually debited depends on your bank's cut-off times (whether it is a business day, an evening, or a weekend). Since we use the same cut-off times as the banks, the date will be the same as if you had paid directly through your online banking.
Custom date: The money is debited on the specific day you have selected in the calendar.
On the due date: The money is debited on the final payment date of the invoice.
With Swish: In cases where Swish is offered as a payment method and you choose it, the money is always debited from your account instantly, regardless of the time of day.
Automatic payments: If you have activated direct debit (autogiro) for a sender that offers it in Kivra, these invoices will be debited one business day before the due date.
⚠️ Important to keep in mind: It is your bank that executes the actual transfer from your account. If you have questions regarding the transaction, it is best to contact your bank directly. Also, remember to double-check that you have selected the correct bank account for the payment and that there are sufficient funds in the account on the scheduled debit date.
